1804 Residence — Calgary

The 1804 Residence is a re-imagined project that became a foundation piece in the Savelica Design portfolio. Originally completed in a previous role, the home was revisited with refreshed exterior treatments and rendering as we launched our independent practice.

This early exploration allowed us to test and refine the principles that continue to guide our work today: clean massing, balanced proportions, and thoughtful use of materials. Subtle exterior updates — including modernized cladding, adjusted fenestration, and a restrained color palette — demonstrate how small design shifts can create a timeless, contemporary presence.

While not a ground-up commission, the 1804 Residence reflects our design ethos in its formative stage and stands as a stepping stone toward the custom residential work that defines Savelica Design today.
