Tuxedo Duplex

Tuxedo Duplex — Calgary

Planned for a pair of narrow lots in the Tuxedo community, this duplex was designed with compact footprints and bright, simple interiors. Though the project was not built, it illustrates how infill housing can bring two family homes into an established neighborhood setting.

Each side was laid out with open-plan living on the main floor, bedrooms above, and a developed basement below. Detached garages provided lane-access parking, while front porches and upper balconies offered small but meaningful outdoor connections.

The exterior combined off-white and gray stucco with stone and Lux metal accents — a crisp, modern palette intended to give the homes a contemporary but familiar character.
